The Caledonian Railway built the Grampian coaches for their service between Glasgow and Edinburgh and Perth and Aberdeen. They were designed by Mr. J. F. McIntosh, M.Inst C.E., Caledonian Railway Locomotive Carriage and Wagon Superintendent, and were built at the company’s works at St. Rollox, Glasgow. The society was formed in 1983 to promote the study of the Caledonian Railway |
